How it works
- Allocated share = Σ ( × / Σ); Balance (+ receives, − pays) = Paid − Allocated share
- Worked example: A = 90, B = 30, C = 0; w = (1;1;1) ⇒ Allocated share = (40;40;40); B → A: 10; C → A: 40

Assumptions and limitations
Use one currency, 2–20 uniquely named participants and up to 50 expenses. Payer numbers follow participant row order. Blank expense weights use participant defaults; otherwise enter one weight per participant using semicolons and decimal points. Zero excludes a participant from that expense. Each expense uses largest-remainder allocation in currency minor units, with ties resolved by row order. Positive balances receive money. Transfers are deterministic, without a claim of the fewest possible transfers.
