Assumptions and limitations
A scale 1:n divides every linear dimension by n; n may be fractional but must be positive. Length units are converted exactly through metres. Zero dimensions are valid. The calculation is linear only; area and volume do not scale by the same factor. Model-to-real mode uses the entered scale denominator as the model’s scale.
