How it works
- Profit = −; = Profit/; = Profit/; Target amount- = /(1−/100)
- Worked example: 80 , 100 ⇒ 20 Profit, 20% , 25% ; 80/0.75 ≈ 106.6666667
- Supported input limits: : 0 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000; : 0 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000; : 0 ≤ x ≤ 99.999999; : 0 ≤ x ≤ 10,000

Assumptions and limitations
Margin divides profit by selling price; markup divides it by cost. A 25% markup is therefore not a 25% margin. Include relevant costs yourself; the calculator does not discover taxes, overhead or selling fees. Zero denominators give undefined percentages.
