Recipe scaling
Resize ingredient quantities by servings or a multiplier while retaining their entered units. Drag the graph handles to change inputs and explore the result.
Your inputs
The editable example is illustrative. Enter your own dimensions, operating data, prices, and fees. Results update as you edit.
Calculations run in your browser. Inputs are not saved or sent to analytics.
How it works
- = ÷ ; Scaled mass = ×
- Worked example: 6 ÷ 4 = 1.5; 300 g × 1.5 = 450 g; 2 × 1.5 = 3
- Supported input limits: : 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000; : 0 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000; : 0 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000; Entries: 1–50

Assumptions and limitations
Each ingredient keeps its entered unit; this tool does not convert cups to grams. All quantities scale by the same factor. Practical fractions round to the nearest eighth, so use the decimal result when measuring small quantities precisely.
