How it works
- Converted value = × f₁ ÷ f₂; SI: L
- Worked example: 1 US liquid gallon = 3.785411784 L; 1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609 L
- Supported input limits: : 0 ≤ x ≤ 1,000,000,000,000

Assumptions and limitations
US choices use liquid volume; imperial gallons, pints and fluid ounces use different factors. A fluid ounce measures volume, not mass. Converting a volume to grams would also require the material’s density.
