Number base converter
Convert signed integers between bases 2–36 without losing large integer precision.
Your inputs
The editable example is illustrative. Enter your own dimensions, operating data, prices, and fees. Results update as you edit.
Calculations run in your browser. Inputs are not saved or sent to analytics.
How it works
- = Σ d × ^p; 2 ≤ ≤ 36; BigInt; n ≤ 4,096
- Worked example: 255 (10) = FF (16) = 11,111,111 (2); 9,007,199,254,740,993 (10) = 20,000,000,000,001 (16)
- Supported input limits: : n ≤ 4,097; : 2 ≤ x ≤ 36; : 2 ≤ x ≤ 36

Assumptions and limitations
This converter accepts signed integers in bases 2–36, using A–Z for digits 10–35. Enter digits without prefixes such as 0x. It preserves the integer exactly; fractional values and fixed-width two’s-complement encodings are not supported.
